Valkyrie Evolution! - Clash Royale

We wrote and directed this film for Clash Royale and the new evolution of the already established character - The Valkyrie.
We wanted to show how the Evolved Valkyrie uses her new abilities against her foes, while also introducing a brand new arena.
The film was designed for a vertical social media screen, forcing us to approach the visual storytelling in a different, but exciting, way.

With Sun Creature Studio we developed a brand new, original 2D look for a new series of cinematic films, inspired by anime, classic comics and Clash Royale’s own 3D films.
We produced 10 different films as overlapping projects, writing and directing 3-4 films at a time.
The films were hugely successful across all SoMe-platforms, with several of them going viral, and praised by the many loyal (and very detail-oriented) fans. Supercell also praised the films for inspiring them in the development of their characters and the expanding lore of the game.
